For the Red Spicy Paste:

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
For Assembling the Burger:
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced red onions
- Sliced cheese (cheddar or pepper jack, optional)
- Red hot sauce
1. Prepare the Spicy Red Pepper Paste:
- In a small bowl, mix the red pepper flakes, water, and olive oil to create a paste. Set aside.
2. Make the Burger Patties:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, finely chopped red bell peppers, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Gently mix the ingredients until well combined. Be careful not to overwork the meat to keep the patties tender.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
3. Cook the Burger Patties:
- Heat a grill pan or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- If using cheese, place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover with a lid to melt.
4. Assemble the Burgers:
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they're lightly golden.
- Spread a generous amount of the red spicy paste on the bottom bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf on top of the paste, followed by a burger patty with melted cheese (if using).
- Add sliced tomatoes and red onions on top of the patty.
- Drizzle a few drops of red hot sauce inside the burger for an extra kick.
- Top with the other half of the bun.
5. Serve:
- Serve your homemade spicy red pepper beef burgers with your favorite side dishes, such as French fries, coleslaw, or a mixed green salad.
